NEPCA is excited to announce our Keynote Speaker for our 2020 Virtual Conference.
Keisha has had a rewarding career in higher education spanning fifteen years across five institutions. She has held diversified and progressive roles that led to her serendipitous transition into her current project manager role with SNHU’s Innovation Center. She has the very cool privilege of overseeing a portfolio of educational pilots that focus on the university’s commitment to equity and access in the future of teaching and learning. In her first role at SNHU, she served Global Campus as an internal consultant sharing her gained expertise about academic learning resources, ADA compliance, and educational technology as a part of the social science and education curriculum design teams. She is also an advocate for open education resources (OER).
Having always been artistically inclined, she once had a career as a professional cook and pastry chef, having earned a (typically very small) paycheck playing with butter, brown sugar and chocolate for hours on end! Current side hustles include writing poetry and nonfiction, auditioning for musical theater, listening to memoir audiobooks of Black Americans, and proudly serving as committee members with NH Humanities and NH Creative Communities Network. She was also selected as an Associate for the 2021 cohort of the Leadership NH program.
Keisha has always been intrigued by stories of the human experience. She consistently considers how to help evoke curiosity inside people in ways that deepen their desire to connect to new experiences – experiences that spark lifelong learning, give us the chance to question what we already know, and help build vibrant communities across place or medium.
