‘68 + Global Cinema

This call for papers is for a guaranteed session on 1968 and Global Cinema, which has been approved for sponsorship by the MLA Executive Committee on Visual Arts and Culture.
Please submit a 250-word abstract and a brief bio (2-3 sentences) to both Christina Gerhardt, University of Hawaii, atcrgerhardt@gmail.com and Sara Saljoughi, University of Toronto, at s.saljoughi@gmail.com. Deadline: March 15, 2016. We will notify those who submitted abstracts for the panel of a decision by April 1, 2016.
The panels dovetail with an edited volume on ’68 + Global Cinema that aims to fill this gap in scholarship. If you are interested in being considered for the edited volume, please indicate the interest. We will notify those who submitted abstracts for the volume of a decision byApril 1, 2016. Articles will be due by June 1, 2016.
