The Yale Journal of Music & Religion (YJMR) announces the upcoming March 2016 publication of Vol. 2, No. 1, a general issue with articles on 17th-century Christian–Muslim dialogue over Davidic Psalms, the congregational masses of James MacMillan, and the Methodist hymn “And Can It Be.”

YJMR is inviting papers for

•   Vol. 2, No. 2, a themed issue on The Sounds of Processions, guest-edited by Suzel Reily and exploring the role of music in religious processions. The submission deadline is February 1.
