Hello NEPCA 2013 Conference Participant:
NEPCA begins the day after tomorrow and your Conference organizers want to make it easy for you to navigate the St. Michael’s College campus. Please print out this guide and take it with you to the Conference.
ARRIVING BY TAXI: Instruct your driver to enter the campus at the South Entrance (by McCarthy Arts Center), take the first right, drive to the end of the faculty parking lot, and leave you off at the southwest corner of St. Edmund’s Hall (the big brick building). You can walk around or through St. Edmund’s to get to the first floor lobby on the north side of the building where registration is taking place.
DRIVING YOUR OWN CAR:
If you’re coming from the north, you will be taking Exit 16, INTERSTATE 89 South. Turn right onto Rt. 2 South (Main St., Winooski). Take your sixth Left (E. Spring St.). East Spring St. feeds into E. Allen St. (Rt. 15). The St. Michael’s campus is on Rt. 15, on your left, shortly after you cross under I-89. Get in left lane and turn into the South Entrance to the campus at the traffic lights. Park in the lot to your left (west) and then proceed to your right (east) to St. Edmund’s Hall (big brick building on the east side of McCarthy Arts Center). Registration is in the lobby, north side of St. Edmund’s Hall.
If you’re coming from the South, you will be taking EXIT 15, INTERSTATE 89 North. Bear to the right off of Exit 15 and get into left lane. Take a Left into the South Entrance to campus at traffic lights. Park in the lot to your left (west) and then proceed to your right (east) to St. Edmund’s Hall (big brick building on the east side of McCarthy Arts Center). Registration is in the lobby, north side of St. Edmund’s Hall.
All the classrooms where the panels take place are on the first floor of St. Edmund’s Hall and Cheray (adjacent science building), just to the east of the lobby where Registration is taking place.
The wine & cheese reception Friday afternoon will take place in the Farrell Room, 3rd floor, northwest corner of St. Edmund’s Hall.
The luncheon mid-day Saturday will take place on the 3rd floor of the Dion Family Student Center, about 100 yards directly north of St. Edmund’s Hall, i.e., go out the doors of the lobby where Registration is situated and go straight to across campus to the large brick building jutting out from Joyce and Ryan dorms. (The Student Center has a colorful glass pillar on one corner).
