Our dear friend, former NEPCA president, and current Executive Council member Carol Mitchell has had a host of exciting things happen.

Carol is the new chair for New England Studies for the national PCA/ACA replacing our compadre Peter Holloran, who has struggled with health isssues. (Please join me in wishing Peter better days ahead.) Carol has also just awarded the title of Distinguished Professor of Humanics at Springfield College for 2013-2014!  It is based on teaching excellence, professional accomplishments, and service to the college and community. She will be setting up film events and giving a major speech on teaching Humanics through film next April.
